Have you bought Bob Dylan's latest offering yet? Modern Times? It's fantastic and I'm loving it more every time I listen. Besides that, there's not many people with the balls (or the creativity) to rhyme "Sons of bitches" with "orphanages".
On a similar topic. Reading poems is a good thing to do when you can't sleep. I couldn't sleep last night. Anyway, I discovered this lovely poem by Auden (see below). It reminds me of something... hmmm ... what could it be?
If I Could Tell You W. H. Auden
Time will say nothing but I told you so,
Time only knows the price we have to pay;
If I could tell you I would let you know.
If we should weep when clowns put on their show,
If we should stumble when musicians play,
Time will say nothing but I told you so.
There are no fortunes to be told, although,
Because I love you more than I can say,
If I could tell you I would let you know.
The winds must come from somewhere when they blow,
There must be reasons why the leaves decay;
Time will say nothing but I told you so.
Perhaps the roses really want to grow,
The vision seriously intends to stay;
If I could tell you I would let you know.
Suppose all the lions get up and go,
And all the brooks and soldiers run away;
Will Time say nothing but I told you so?
If I could tell you I would let you know.

Add some tasty guitar licks and an "ooh ooh ooh" refrain on the bridge and call it Yaakov's next hit single, why don't you?
Don't forget the big Timpani drum part. LOL
I listened to the track on the site from the album and I loved it. I'm so out of touch with music, other then what toddlers are into these days. It's a sad, sad thing.
