"I hate that fucking song." (Keith Whittaker)
So get this, Bullseye Records of Canada, is releasing an album of 12 demos that Keith Whittaker recorded in the early 90's (with Steven Davey). For those of you not familiar with the Canadian music scene, Keith's band The Demics (born in London, Ontario) was a Canadian punk rock band in the late 70's and early 80's. They recorded the infamous song "New York City" which was rated "The Greatest Canadian Rock song of all time" in a 1996 reader poll by music magazine "Chart". Keith Whittaker died in 1996.
The new album "Drink to Me" will be celebrated August 20th at a release party in Toronto.
What I have heard so far is amazing. You can hear it for yourself at Keith's myspace page: http://www.myspace.com/keithwhittakermusic
